Climate Change Group to Kids: Using Electricity Drowns Puppies

This is a real commercial produced by a group called Act on CO2:
This is how Marley and Me would have ended if Al Gore had been the author.
This bit of ham-fisted propaganda apparently cost $6 million pounds of taxpayer money to produce. Incredible.

How Sick!……. This is sick, sick, sick… talk about giving major depression to children just for being alive and wanting to be warm and have a light to read by……SICK!
October 20, 2009 @ 1:00 pmOur children are being attacked on all fronts. I can’t believe the idiots that are around this world… seriously.
October 20, 2009 @ 1:36 pmAmazing!
Since adults are finally coming around to reasoning with common sense and won’t buy into the man made global climate change crapola anymore, the TARDs are now picking on the children…
Where is their shame?!?!

October 20, 2009 @ 1:42 pmThis is a common leftist tactic, they’ve been using it for as long as I can remember. They use them (children) to guilt adults and if that doesn’t work then there is the fall back position of indoctrinating them for the leftist future.
The disgusting outgrowth of this propaganda is suicide. If you want to know the reason for the huge surge in teen suicides, look no further. All the dire warnings (the latest as of yesterday was we have 5 years or it’s death to the planet) give children no hope. If there is no hope there is no point in life.
October 20, 2009 @ 2:32 pmEqually, Oscarphone, if the man-made global warming thory is correct (we can’t know for certain either way until its too late, remember) then we are destroying our children’s inheritence. There is a huge body of evidence to support man made global warming, and (as far as I can tell) a smaller body of equally confident evidence against it.
However you look at it, not changing our ways is gambling with our kids future. I don’t feel comfortable doing that, no matter how many studies people can link to on the internet. The truth is that you can’t know what the truth is so the only logical, responsible thing to do is to proceed with caution.
