On a serious note, you have to admire the genius of David Axelrod. Polls show that Americans like Obama much more than they do his handling of the economy or health care. So what does Obama do, seize on a remark by Senator DeMint and claim (on national TV) “This isn’t about me.” That of course helps insure that Obama the person is part of the discussion, thereby bringing the fact that most people still like him into the equation. Good strategy, but I don’t think it’s going to work.
