That’s Google’s motto. Looks like they have some more work to do. I’m not talking about their deal with the Chinese Communists to censor search results. I’m talking about their recent purchase of You Tube:

Householders were warned today to check their security in an alert sparked by video website YouTube. Hundreds of videos are available on the site showing users how to pick locks, which experts fear will result in a spate of burglaries.

The films were uncovered in an investigation by Which? magazine and sparked calls for YouTube to remove them from the site. Which? researchers found that a search for “lock-picking” on the site brings up more than 280 videos showing how different types of lock can be picked and what tools are needed.

One film, which shows how to make the tools needed to pick locks, has been viewed more than 60,000 times.

For example (this one only viewed 19K times):

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Here’s a little video showing teens tagging and vandalizing a subway car:

I know kids do dumb stuff. Boys especially do dangerous, dumb stuff. But it used to be that you just had to keep your kids away from them. Now those kids can distribute their bad behavior to thousands of others on You Tube. You Tube is a great idea, but they need to take some responsibility for their content.
