Out of Context is the New Distraction

CNS News asked Howard Dean, former DNC chairman, what he thought about the Sonia Sotomayor flap:

I haven’t read the piece, but I know it was taken out of context,” Dean told CNSNews.com. “People did that to me when I was running for president. It’s a favorite media trick.

“It was one sentence that they took out of a15- or 16-page statement that she was making,” Dean said. “It’s a ridiculous controversy about nothing.”

Well, apparently Dean is doing exactly what Obama hopes most Americans will do, i.e. just believe whatever they’re told to believe.

In fact, there’s no need to read it. Why bother…It’s out of context.

Out of context is the new distraction.
