Rosie O’Donnell-Ridiculous Views Spouted on The View

Scott on September 14, 2006 at 7:23 pm

Rosie O’Donnell, she who used to carry the moniker of “The Queen of Nice,” should now be provided with a new descriptor for her position on The View. How ’bout “The Loud-Mouthed Idiot” or perhaps “She Who Is Without a Clue,” or even “Dumb as #@#%$#@!”

In case you missed it, here’s the scoop: During a segment on Wednesday’s episode of The View, co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck commented that militant Islam is a threat to free people everywhere. Rosie interrupted and said:

“Just a minute. Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state.”

So in Ms. O’Donnell’s mind, radical Christianity in the U.S. is the same as and as much of a threat as the radical Islamic jihadists who caused 9/11, bombed the U.S.S. Cole, bombed the Kobart Towers, butchered/beheaded countless civilians and soldiers, etc, etc, etc.

I’m sorry, Rosie, but WHAT!!!!! Are you #$@%$#@#@$*&! Kidding me? That has got to be one of the MOST ridiculous, asinine things I have ever heard!

I know that The View isn’t there to provide accurate political analysis and in-depth geopolitical coverage on international news and politics. But at the same time, The View also shouldn’t be there to allow complete idiots like Ms. O’Donnell to make such ridiculous, pathetic, frighteningly dim comments.

I enjoyed Rosie’s old show from time to time, but I find myself hoping that she is shown the door over at The View in a hurry. At this point, with that one single comment she makes even Starr Jones seem bearable, and that is saying something!
