Nice little allegory which examines the appeal of Narnia and the Potter books in terms of cultural and generational differences.
I couldn’t agree more with the author’s thesis. Potter is going to turn out to be the most important Christian fiction since Tolkien. The tendency on the part of some to shun the books in favor of the Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins novels is hard for me to understand. It’s as if the Passion of the Christ were being compared unfavorably to the Omega Code. What can you say except “You’re missing it.”
