The man is a US Senator. If he’s a threat to the safety of the plane we have bigger problems:
Par for the course, the TSA denies he was detained. Sure, whatever Blogger Bob. Just go back to patting down 6 year olds and telling us it’s necessary for our safety.
The Daily Caller spoke to Sen. Paul. He contradicts the TSA claims that he was not detained:
“If you’re told you can’t leave, does that count as detention?” Paul asked.
“I tried to leave the cubicle to speak to one of the TSA people and I was barked at: ‘Do not leave the cubicle!’ So, that, to me sounds like I’m being asked not to leave the cubicle. It sounds a little bit like I’m being detained.”
Sounds like detention to me.
