BDS and Newsweek’s Choice of Ads

John on January 2, 2009 at 9:22 pm

It’s bust on Newsweek day here at VS…

I was reading an article this evening and noticed the banner ad in the sidebar:

Here’s the closeup:

Question: Would Newsweek accept a similar ad about Obama?

Bonus Question: At what point does BDS subside?

[Note: Ads on Newsweek are dynamic, therefore no link because there's no garuntee you'll get the same ad.]

“Would Newsweek accept a similar ad about Obama?”

Of course they would not. Everyone has a political bias and most show it proudly.

And the IQ of 125 is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, most people look up to an IQ of 125. And many from a great distance.

Understanding and discounting the role of ad networks and the impersonal nature of it all, another question: would Newsweek post an ad stating Bush has a Harvard MBA and then asking someone to compare themselves to his intelligence.
