Ellen Barkin Compares NYPD to Nazis After Witnessing Arrest

Barkin saw some girl being arrested and screaming that she wasn’t a protester that she was just on her way home. She became outraged and tweeted this:

Fuck all of u,Bloomberg & every1 goose-stepping behind u.I cannot believe what I am seeing.U protect nothing.U ARE the violence in my city

Here’s the clip that shows an officer moving Barkin out of the street when she tried to intervene in the arrest:

First off, you don’t get to intervene in an arrest because you don’t think it should happen. No police organization anywhere in the world would allow that. Second, I think Ms. Barkin needs to have a look at this video and tell me who the instigators are.

Yes, because one girl was arrested (who may have been lying) it’s an incipient police state. Good point, Ellen.
