From the Daily Mail:
Despite members of his own party threatening to revolt and pollsters predicting that he would lose, Mr Papandreou won the vote by 153 to 144.
Mr Papandreou had given no indication before the vote that he plans to resign shortly, although he said he was not ‘glued to his seat.’
But both his own Socialist party and the opposition conservatives are talking about elections – though they differ strongly on the timing.
The report mentions that he could even step down this weekend.
