What Bible Does Hillary Clinton Read?

I’ve often read about the Bible that Thomas Jefferson created by cutting apart an actual Bible and pasting together only the parts he agreed with. I wonder if Hillary has done the same thing. If so, she must have left most of scripture on the floor, cut to shreds.

The New York Times is reporting on a speech that Senator Clinton gave in which she used the Bible to “criticize a stringent border security measure that, among other things, would make it a federal crime to offer aid to illegal immigrants.”

Said Ms. Clinton of the bill that was passed by the House and is moving through the Senate:

“It is hard to believe that a Republican leadership that is constantly talking about values and about faith would put forth such a mean-spirited piece of legislation…It is certainly not in keeping with my understanding of the Scripture because this bill would literally criminalize the Good Samaritan and probably even Jesus himself.”

I didn’t realize how devout Bill’s wife is and how into “the Scripture” she is. I think it would be interesting to sit in a Sunday school class with her and her husband some time.

Now I can’t speak to what Jesus would think of the whole issue of illegal immigration and border security. He advocated following the laws of the land while also advocating an attitude of servanthood to all.

I’m just wondering, since Hillary is so quick to invoke Jesus in the illegal immigration issue, what does she think Jesus would do about abortion? Is murder of an unborn/innocent baby in keeping with Hillary’s understanding of the scriptures?

Maybe she could send me some scripture references about the whole abortion thing. And maybe some about adultry. And maybe about lying. And taking bribes. And obstructing justice.

I’m gonna bet that HER version of the Bible doesn’t have anything in there about these little inconveniences.
