As Predicted, Larry Flynt Offers Money to Sarah Palin (Sort of)

Just call me Nostradamus from now on.

On August 30th I wrote about Sarah Palin’s looks and how it was likely to change things in some fairly predictable and repulsive ways. Here’s me calling the shot a la Babe Ruth:

[T]rust me, it’s only going to get more graphic and extreme as we get closer to the election. In fact, I predict Larry Flynt will offer Palin money to appear in one of his magazines before September’s out.

And, voila:

The Hustler founder and freedom of speech advocate has produced an X-rated movie using an adult-film actress who resembles the Republican vice presidential candidate.

Flynt’s producers posted an anonymous help-wanted ad on Craigslist in L.A. just days after the Republican convention. “Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike,” read the ad, “for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days.” The actress would be paid $3,000 for the part, said the ad.

So I got the timing right. The Craigslist posting went up about a week after my post. And I, more or less, predicted the offer of money, though admittedly it was made to a look-alike rather than to the real Palin. Seems obvious in retrospect. And it was a film not a magazine appearance…

Okay, so I missed most of the details. Still, I was on the right track.

New prediction: Keith Olbermann and/or Rachel Maddow will mention the film on their MSNBC shows as soon as the title is know. Sadly, O’Reilly will probably follow suit and possibly find a way to air a portion.
