The Top Myths and Lies About Palin (Update)
Scott on September 5, 2008 at 1:41 pm
Fox News put up a list of 7 of the most commonly used myths and lies about Sarah Palin. Some of these include:
Myth #1-Palin Joined an Alaskan Secessionist Group
Myth #2-Palin Supported a Nazi Sympathizer (and is one herself)
Myth #3-Palin Wants Creationism Taught in Schools
Myth #5-Palin Opposes Sex Education
Update 8PM: Sorry I keep hijacking Scott’s posts, but it makes more sense than starting a whole new one.
Just wanted to add that this site has a complete list of all the Palin rumors/smears and clearly states which are true and which are false (most are false). The list is approximately 40 items so far but I’m thinking the MSM can hit 50 by Monday. [HT: Hot Air]

TOP LIES ABOUT SCOTT RAGAN
* Scott knows something about communication
* Scott is more intelligent than John
* Scott understands nuance
I personally reject these viscious lies about Scott, everyone who knows him can plainly see they are not true. :)
September 5, 2008 @ 1:55 pmYou have a nice looking website, so I assume you can watch youtube and search and see video disproving at least 3 of 4 of your “facts” above. The Nazi thing I believe is totally untrue, which means it was usually spread by the right saying it was spread by the left.
September 13, 2008 @ 11:46 amIf your side is so religiously right, upstanding, non-elitist and full of family morals – why do the Republicans have to lie so much and spread propaganda to win elections? Why is it all the republicans being outed as gay and being arrested for immoral acts (even though most of it happened when they were in the majority of all levels of washington.) Wake up you fool.
Oh look.. one of America’s brightest college stupids*, Mike, came by to dazzle us with his challenge.
* I assume he’s in college because of his perfect recitation of the usual hatred they are indoctrinated with
September 13, 2008 @ 5:29 pmListening to Palin’s current stumpt speech, complete with all the inane applause phrases (I said “no thanks”), should remind us of how scripted these four politicians really are. I can understand Christians who feel that voting represents some moral direction, I can understand that.
What I will nevert understand is the way some act as if one side is politically different than the other. All four of them will say anything to get elected. And please do not forget that McCain had to be talked into choosing Palin, he was set to nominate a pro-choice vice president. His choice of Palin was strictly politics and not based upon principle.
Politics. In four years from now Roe v Wade will still be law, and watch how McCain pushes the immigration thing. You guys will love it!!
September 14, 2008 @ 5:15 amRick,
You are surprising me. Over the last week you have regurgitated some of the DEM talking points without any attempt at discernment.
I am pretty sure you got that from statements made by Obama’s people in the media. I have not heard ANY of McCain’s people confirm that in any way, shape or form. (And even if it was true, I don’t think McCain’s people would never confirm it.)
The logical conclusion connected to that statement about the VP pick not being based on principle is that VP picks are usually based on principle. Puuleeeease! They aren’t EVER based on principle, or at least they haven’t been over the last 20-30 years. The VP pick is nearly always based on electoral math and public relations/marketing overlay.
What? You think Obama picked Biden based on principle? Come on…get real. If he was looking for principles, Biden wouldn’t have been the guy.
Look back through the last few elections. Bush’s choice of Cheney didn’t bring with it electoral votes, but it brought with it a tremendous amount of PR and Marketing mileage within the REP party and with those looking for someone with experience to shore up Bush. Clinton’s choice of Gore brought with it much needed electoral college math. And on and on and on. Reagen’s choice of Bush as VP brought both electoral votes AND PR/Marketing mileage given Bush’s history in the highest levels of leadership.
September 14, 2008 @ 9:55 amObama is a politician just like McCain. No difference. McCain did not refute the assertain about his first choice being Liberman, and I saw Liberman kind of admit that.
My point is there is no principle in politics. None. (Reagan maybe)
September 14, 2008 @ 10:03 amBTW – Tina Fey was a scream as Palin on SNL!
