In Australia, liberal party leader Danna Vale is catching a lot of heat for comments she made recently connected to abortion AND Islam.
In a debate connected to the approval of the use of the abortion drug RU486 (the supposed “morning after pill”), Ms. Vale said that Australians are “aborting ourselves out of existence,” and went on to say that this would lead to Australia becoming an Islamic state within 50 years.
Though she has been harshly criticized by some, Ms. Vale stands by her comments:
“I’ve actually read in The Daily Telegraph where a certain imam from the Lakemba mosque actually said that Australia’s going to be a Muslim nation in 50 years’ time. I didn’t believe him at the time, but you know, when you actually look at the birth rates and when you look at the fact that we are aborting ourselves almost out of existence by 100,000 abortions every year, and that’s on a guesstimate. You multiply that by 50 years, that’s five million potential Australians we won’t have here.”
It has been said that Islam is a religion of patience with an eye to the distant future, not just the near future. Islam may be against abortion for its own people, but wouldn’t it make sense that some in the Muslim world would be in favor of non-Muslims taking advantage of abortion.
Why should they care? Since they would like to see us dead anyway, wouldn’t high numbers of abortion (in Australia and around the world) make the work easier for the Muslim terrorists of the world?
You think maybe Hamas should join up with Planned Parenthood?
