Profanity and Intimidation in the Kansas State House

On Thursday, union members entered the Kansas State House to loudly protest House Bill 2130 which would prevent unions from collecting donations to a political PAC directly from worker’s wages. When the protesters became disruptive they were asked to leave:

The alleged profanity and intimidation apparently did not help the union’s cause. At least one member of the House who was planning to vote against the measure changed his mind after being forced to run the gauntlet to enter the chamber.

Union spokesmen have denied any wrongdoing and are demanding that House Speaker Mike O’Neal provide video proof to back up his accusations.
