Precognitive Detection of Erotic Stimuli

This new study on precognition is a hoot, not just because of the mind-bending experiments it contains, but because the author is apparently a serious and well-respected scientist:

In an interview, Dr. Bem, the author of the original paper and one of the most prominent research psychologists of his generation, said he intended each experiment to mimic a well-known classic study, “only time-reversed.”

[...]

Dr. Bem is far from typical. He is widely respected for his clear, original thinking in social psychology, and some people familiar with the case say his reputation may have played a role in the paper’s acceptance.

I wonder if this will be one of those studies subject to the “decline effect.” There’s a simple way to find out. Several of the experiments included in the paper could relatively easily be set up on a web page. How about expanding the number of participants to a million and then we see if the effect holds. If it does, the skeptics will have a hard time refuting it.
