The good news for Barak Obama is that he snagged a very visible endorsement from Ted Kennedy…The bad news for Obama is that he snagged a very visible endorsement from Ted Kennedy!
I have to wonder…if a Democratic candidate is trying to appear more “main stream” and centrist, isn’t an endorsement from Kennedy the LAST thing they would want? Isn’t an endorsement from Kennedy kind of like a social conservative getting an endorsement from Larry Flynt? Or maybe it’s like a social liberal getting an endorsement from James Dobson.
I wonder if this is what my grandfather meant when he used to say “Some people can’t win for losing,” or was it “Some people can’t lose for winning?”
