The President’s tough stance on Iran was long overdue and looks to have made a read difference. Today, Col. Steven Boylan spoke to the Washington Times and said:
We are ready to confirm the excellence of the senior Iranian leadership in their pledge to stop the funding, training, equipment and resourcing of the militia special groups…We have seen a downward trend in the signature-type attacks using weapons provided by Iran.
Fewer EFP attacks is good news, but not all the news is good:
he disclosed that U.S. troops “recently captured individuals who have been in Iran, training, as short as 45-60 days ago.
Iran is still a player in Iraq. With the election coming and a Democrat favored to win they may simply have decided to wait us out.
