Yahoo as a Communist Stooge

Yahoo’s CEO Jerry Yang went up to Capital Hill yesterday to answer for Yahoo’s deplorable policies that allow the corporation to cooperate with top Communist officials in China, turning over names and information on thousands of users within the country. The information included the detailed logs of internet activity for 100′s of men and women whom the Communist government believed were dissidents advocating for democracy and free elections.
Specifically, the hearings focused on the role that Yahoo played in the arrest and imprisonment of Shi Tao, a Chinese journalist who was accused of leaking state secrets but who observes believe was simply targeted because of the information that Yahoo turned over to the Chinese government, information that included Tao’s internet log, site history and bookmarks.
While the Yahoo people are apologizing now, it is obvious that they really couldn’t care less about what happens to the poor schmucks in China who are aching under Communist rule. They are apologizing because they got caught.
When scolding the Yahoo CEO and attorney, Rep. Tom Lanto, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, said it best:
“While technologically and financially you are giants, morally you are Pygmies!”
Amen!

Relating to Yahoo
September 10, 2008 @ 10:46 amSince they have something to do with Verizon email I get their news headlines throughout the day. There was coverage of the presidential election until about a week ago when Obama started nose diving. They no longer have anything election related in the featured headlines. But I won’t blame this on the Chicoms.
