|You scored as Amillenialist. Amillenialism believes that the 1000 year reign is not literal but figurative, and that Christ began to reign at his ascension. People take some prophetic scripture far too literally in your view.
Note the zero for Dispensationalist and Left Behind. I’m proud of that. I’m actually a partial preterist. I’ll be posting on that topic soon.
SCOTT ADDS: I took it, too!
|You scored as Preterist. You take the historical setting of the Bible very seriously, and believe that passages like Daniel 7 and Mark 13 were speaking about their own day rather than the End of Time, though there will still be a time when Jesus is ‘unveiled’ and there will be final judgement and new creation.
Based on my test results, guess what? I’m going to Hell! (just kidding)
My label of Preterist doesn’t bother me, and neither does my 90% – Amillenialist. Both of those are pretty acurate. But what the heck is Moltmannian Eschatology? I GOOGLED that concept and find no information. What I did find is other blogs whose writers have taken the same quiz and who have scored high in that area as well. We’re all asking the same thing…What Is IT?
O.K., Scott (over at Magic Statistics), you got me into this mess! HELP! My brain will be wracked with concern and worry all night. Maybe I have unknowingly become part of an eschatalogical cult whose beliefs center around the importance of Malt-o-Meal in the end-times scenarios. My wife is already concerned with my Preterist predilections. What do I do about my maltomealian/moltmannian leanings? Is there a support group for this?
I must admit that I am also curious as to why it is that I scored at 5% for Left Behind, Premillenialist, and Dispensationalist. The 5% Left Behind is slightly embarassing! I hope John will still talk to me!
