I missed this on Sunday:
As I pointed out in this post in December, this isn’t the 1st time Klein has accused someone of sedition. It’s at least the third.
As I also pointed out back then, this is Joe’s idea of not rubbing up against sedition:
It would be interesting, just for the fun and justice of it, to subject Rumsfeld to four hours in a stress position — standing stock still with his arms extended, naked, in a cold room after maybe two hours’ sleep Fidell and others say it is possible, though highly unlikely, that Bush et al. could be arrested overseas — one imagines the Vice President pinched midstream on a fly-fishing trip to Norway — just as Augusto Pinochet, the Chilean dictator, was indicted in Spain and arrested in London for his crimes.
In case you haven’t been keeping track, Klein accused a Senator of sedition in December. In January he accused Americans of being dumb. In February he announced that President Obama had won the health care summit even though, as he admitted, he hadn’t bothered to watch it. In March he dishonestly described a speech Al Gore had given in an attack on Karl Rove’s book.
Can someone please, please explain to me why this awful hack continue to have a job at Time magazine? Seriously, people. Klein is a light-weight and an embarrassment. Time should take his salary and distribute it between a couple of younger, brighter bloggers who would add value to the magazine.
