The world breathed a collective sigh of relief (tinged with a giggle of glee and anticipation) on Friday when it was announced that Snoop Dogg (a.k.a. Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr.) will have his own reality television show that will air in late 2007.
When reflecting on why this show is worthy of consideration by the viewers, Ted Herbert, CIO (chief idiot officer) of Comcast Entertainment, said:
“The juggling act that Snoop faces day-in, day-out between career and family is certain to resonate with our viewers.”
Yes, Ted! YES! I can’t tell you the number of times that my friends and I have sat around contemplating our many activities and commitments as professionals, husbands and fathers when one of us will stop and say, “You know who else has a lot on his plate? Snoop Dogg. He is just like we are.”
Snoop Dogg – Husband. Father. Little League Coach. Rapper. Ganja Smoker. Community “Activist.” Convicted Felon.
Snoop Dogg – A man of the people.
Next stop – Congress!
