MA Senate Returns

John on January 19, 2010 at 5:27 pm

From what I’m reading, we should have a good indication early, certainly by 11PM EST, though the final vote could drag on. If you want to check returns…

7:03 PST – 95% reporting, 52-47%. Coakley is making a decent concession right now. Harry Reid says he’ll seat Brown as soon as he gets the paperwork. Okay, then let’s make sure that happens this week.

6:33 PST – 84% reporting, 52.3-46.7%.

6:25 PST – 75% reporting and it’s still 53-46%, this is important because it means the chance of Democratic recount shenanigans is minimal. Clear win for Brown. Clear loss for Obama and for Health Reform which is now DOA.

6:22 PST – Fox just announced that the AP called it for Brown. Brown wins!

6:12 PST – 65% reporting, Brown 53-46%, 47% of Boston is in.

6:05 PST – 60% reporting, Brown 53-46%, lead grows to 87K votes.

6:00 PST – 52% reporting, Brown leads 52-47%. He has a 67K vote lead.

5:55 PST – Up to 40% now and the lead widens 53-46%, 462,013 to 407,455.

5:52 PST – OMG, I’m starting to believe. 36% reporting, Brown 52-47%.

5:50 PST – Allah notes this bit of good news at NRO.

5:45 PST – Up to 25% reporting, Brown leads 52-47%, 288,615 to 260,730.

5:40 PST – Now up to 17%, Brown leads 52-47%.

5:35 PST – 13% reporting, Brown leads 53-46%.

5:30 PST – With 8% reporting Brown has a small lead 52-47%.
