Myth Confirmed: Tongue Will Stick to Frozen Metal Pole (or Dumpster)

It happened in Germany:

As Germany battled freezing weekend weather that caused transport chaos and at least six deaths, the witless youth, 16, stuck his tongue to a lamppost in the city of Saarlouis on Saturday night and had to be treated by paramedics after he tore himself loose.

Remarkably, paramedics said this was not the first such incident they had been called to help with on Saturday night in Saarland, where the temperature dropped to -20 degrees Celsius.

Recently, a local news anchor was dared (on Twitter) to ask Milwaukee tourists to please not lick the bronze Fonz due to the cold weather. He did it. I wish I could find the video.

It saddens me to think that with days of sub zero temperatures over here, none of the feckless British youth have had the wherewithall or initiative to add themselves to this hallowed list, sticking instead to the brain dead imbecilic things they can do the rest of the year. Young people these days, don’t even know they’re born…..

Of course it is well known that this problem can be aleviated quickly and easily by using a stream of lukewarm water to free the poor lads tongue from the ice.

I will leave source of stream of warm water to your imagination.
