OK.

Let me play Devil's Advocate here for the moment:

Just got this from my sister, who got it from someone else regarding the whole supposedly VASTLY overblow ACORN mess:

It seems Brietbart and Fox and Hannah Giles might be the ones in trouble, and will at best settle out of court while ACORN gets refunded due to NO ACTUAL LAWS being broker AND due to Congress merely taking the action they did for purely political reasons to remove the conservatve hammer. Here's why:

Criminal? Scam? I see this getting tossed around...but I note that there is another side to this story. Just for the sake of playing Devil's advocate here, what about this handy little ditty:

Actually FOX's coverage of ACORN is quintessential demonstration of its bias:

Fox presents claims of "Voter Fraud By Acorn" as factual.

YET, in its coverage it FAILS to report the fact that ACORN was acutally FOLLOWING ELECTION LAW EXACTLY - namely that organizations that collect voter registration cards are FORBIDDEN from evaluating their content

Fox then presents the illegally obtained video from Okeefe and Giles as 'factual'.

And FAILS to point out that TAX ADVISORS ARE Legally obligated to protect the fiduciary privacy interests of those they are advising

Tax advisors Are doing their job the way THE IRS REQUIRES when they help taxpayers fill out the forms
Okeefe and Giles BROKE THE LAW in filming those videos without permission

Okeefe and Giles are so incredibly over the top (Okeefe's idea of a pimp is Huggy Bear) that the simply aren't believable

So Breitbart's questionable actions/claims, and the others?

FOX actually FAILS to report the FACTS in the ACORN case, instead reporting innuendo as fact.

HMMMM?

AS to the LEGALITY of these tapings?

Goodness gracious. Should've known better, gang....

IE--Can someone here at LONG LONG LONG LONG last, report to me just what laws were broken by ACORN--much as we might not like them for their help with the poor?

ACORN's illegalities, that is.

Not Giles and the others being sued for illegal tapings and false persona and PUNKY stuff that only can be used with warrants from courts if you're doing a REAL investigation under the penumbra of true law enforcemenet.

Speaking of this, why do we still have a NAMBLA supporter working as the Safe Schools Czar? Why is not one goddamned Republican or Conservative stepping up to demand this guy be thrown out the door immediately?
