Comments on: NY Daily News Story on Elizabeth Edwards Appears to be False

We’ve had numerous Cherubim comments on stories over the years. I’ve also traced IP addresses. I’ve had multiple addresses come back for Cherubim at various times. Several have been Nashville. More of them have not been.

Elizabeth Edwards has been known to travel is all I’m saying.

Just for the record for anyone doing any research and of reading this post at a later time.

I’m no fan of either of the Edwardses, but I have at least one blogger friend who’s still a diehard true believer and would probably agree with everything Cherubim wrote (she doesn’t live in Tennessee either, though, so I’m sure she’s not Cherubim :) ). I know from experience that politicians attract a certain number of supporters who are both devoted and knowledgeable; the fact that a person speaks up for the Edwardses and has facts at her fingertips doesn’t mean she’s part of the Edwards family or staff.

I’d say 90%+ of web 2.0 enabled millionaires use them. John Edwards has multiple houses and they travel around. They probably have some dedicated IT geeks around to help them out with the stuff. Since Elizabeth posted some embarrassing stuff to DemocraticUnderground a few years ago its plausible she asked for the geek, who they have hanging around anyway, to help her keep her internet presence on the DL.

Most people use one.

I know how to, but see no reason why I would. I agree with Morgen, most people would have no clue what one is, that they exist or why one would want to use one. Most people think that what they post behind a username on the internet is anonymous.

And the “MSM” can’t figure out why younger people get their news from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert?

You have heard of using a proxy on your computer, have you not? Most people use one.
